Hey do you guys use any SEO software to manage the sites to submit? For instance, you would need a table to know which sites you have edited and which submissions you have done and blah blah...

I do not know exactly the tools concerning the submit prcesses, but I use LinkAssistant (www.link-assistant.com, if I'm not mistaken) for keeping an eye on my link exchange partners.
And surely people are lazy and are constantly trying to automate their job

I have an Excel spreadsheet for directory submissions across a couple of sites, plus another spreadsheet to keep a track of link exchanges for each site.
