To buy or not to buy, that is the question

I'm really not sure how scientific this survey is. The month of June as a time frame must be an awful lot of data. Most likely they had a handful of sites participate by reviewing or doing analysis on their logs and coming up with these pseudo results.

Take it with a large grain of salt. You would really want to see buying patterns over a year for 100's of ecommerce sites.

OK so the research firm has over 2 million people running their spyware on a voluntary basis. I guess that's a large statistical pool but I still think the study is meaningless.

How was the statistical pool selected? I would suspect there are selection biases, if nothing else.

Although, 2MM is still a lot of people...
