SEO, Directories and Google
Which is better and will do better in the search engines:-

1)http://www.domain.tld/book/book-name/

or

2)http://www.domain.tld/book/book-name.html or http://www.domain.tld/book/book-name.php


I heard somewhere that google prefers .html or .php than directories

All the same for SEO but for your users http://www.domain.tld/book/book-name

For your programmers don’t mod re-write its mostly a pointless idea.
