okay New to SEO but learning!

I personally don't pay attention to where my links are going to be placed, but when I find out that something was done to block the spiders or whatever to deceive me, I make sure I let people know about it (not the blocking part, but the deception). I kind of rely on my instinct on the trustworthyness of a webmaster. And yes, I get burned, but it's saving me time and looking at the big picture, if works out better

wow you guys were for reall! I asked a website which has PR5 and a shitload of traffic, ( I know it's a guy i've been watching for a while ) and i asked him if he could put my link on his website, just for fun. He told me sure man, i'll put it on the main page for 1 month! hows that! :O

nah he won't the site gets 2k visitors per day, and can do everything i can lol! But still 1 month link isn't bad, for free! especially not for that kind of website!
