the results appear to be provided by espotting, which is a pay-per-click, as far as I know.
The only reason I believe that is because the clickthroughs go through an espotting URL, but looking at espotting shows that no one of the people listed there are also advertising at espotting.
So, kind of wierd.

No - I have never built a search engine.

And I found it while checking out references to my sites on the net.

I have never done PPC - the results are freely indexed.

I'm curious as to how the results are created - to be honest, I've rarely ever looked beyond Google.
