From my experience: You can start ranking quickly ... but one false move, and you can get penalized

What the sandbox is.

This is what the sandbox is established sites with many many links.
for very competative keywords like loans there are 100's of thousands of links.
It will take you a long time to build up to these levels.
you need to build up to these levels at a resonable rate or google will not count all your links. Google does have a penelty box that you can get put in if you break some of the rules but this is not a sandbox.
There is a sandbox for expired domain names that are reregeistered on the drop day they will not be indexed for about 6 month. names that remain unregester for a week or two after expiring may escape this and be treated like new domains.

Maybe it's your link strategy that is lacking something ... no offense and not trying to be critical. But I remember you saying this about Google before. Do you go out of your way to get links elsewhere or mainly just from members here and on other forums?

no offense taken mate i am always open to info
i try my best to get related links mostly or links on busy websites that get spiderd alot, i have been having tryble with google for a wile now in lots of ways like the way they index my websites infact i have only one website that they have ever indexed correctly and all my others they have done things wrong like idexing them wrong and pointing them to the my other website and stuff like that.
but when i work on some one elses website i can get them indexed withing 24 hours no problem, latly i have emailed them as i was told to by my mate and told to tell them all the problems that i am having with them, in my eye's this will not sort anything but like my mate says it's worth a try, maybe they will reply with the info that i have been looking for on what i have or what i am doing wrong but lol that will be like winning the lottery

Sounds weird. I'm not quite sure what to make of it looking at http://www.madkad.com/
But here is a suggestion: give outgoing links to the sites that rank well. Google doesn't like it when the flow stops. Give the spiders something to follow, try it and see!

Yes i see what you meen i have noticed this also, in my eye's it looks like google think its better to add some links to your related competiters as they must think if your website is good then it must be better if its adding links on for other websites related, if you get what i meen lol
i did do that here
http://www.madkad.com/V7ndotcom-Elursrebmem/
but i was leaveing my main page for a wile to see what happend as i thought i might have been updating it just a little to often and that google couldnt keep up
