I have seen a difference from others when checking google.com, either way if you could possibly confirm the top 10/do a screengrab at some point soon before the end it could confirm we are all looking at the same last stretch together from the same viewpoint. I know the rules and I think some of us are keen to make sure you/we all looking at the same picture.

Thanx John - similar to what I'm seeing here, although not exactly the same as it bounces around a bit.
BTW, quite a bit of variance in results between Google - MSN - Yahoo ... clearly indicates a lotta difference in the search engine algorithms.
One in particular for the redirect fans is that DigDog redirected www.the-elursrebmem.com to MarcusW's www.marcuswestberg.com/v7ndotcom-elursrebmem/ over a week ago - part of their 70/30 teaming split - good/expected strategy BTW ... but I'm surprised Taggle Team hasn't done this.
Google has noticed (boosted Marcus, dropped DigDog's) ... but Yahoo still ranks DigDog's quite high. Ironically, the Yahoo cache shows content from the redirected page.

MSN looks like the most spam-friendly of the SE's from those SERPs.

Both Yahoo and Google are showing a more sophisticated algo than MSN, IMO.

I'm mostly a Firefox user ... so I'll do a http://www.google.com/search?q=V7ndotcom+elursrebmem query in FF, and then occasionally pull that up in IE. What's bizzarre to me right now is I'm seeing different results, depending on which browser I'm using.
I.e. same PC, same IP address, but definite re-shuffle of the results in IE compared to Firefox. I'd normally just say "luck of the data centers" ... but when I hit reload (or even restart the browsers), these differences persist.
I don't always see this, but has anyone ever heard of the browser/user-agent making a difference in the SERP's? And yes, I have Personalized Search turned off, logged out of gmail, etc.

V78N is #10 there, without the words being on the page.

These terms only appear in links pointing to this page: v7ndotcom elursrebmem

Entirely due to ALT Text of images linked to v7n home page.

That's very interesting. I did a similar test with one of our domains, and saw it pop up in the thirties all in a sudden. It dissapeared after a day though when I removed the ALT text.
I think this shows that the theory that Google does not concider the ALT text anymore to be wrong.
The page I tested with did not have the actual text on the page. It just had a few inbound links with the keywords. I guess we can be sure that on-page optimization is dead when it comes to Google.

I never heard that theory. ALT text of linked images has been extremely powerful for quite some time.

I set this site up a little over a week ago but never added any links it already list #9 on google for V7ndotcom elursrebmem dust #1 on MSN only 5 days left but I think this site may have a chance for v7ndotcom elursrebmem if I add some good links google likes these kind of dot org sites and it has back links for some big antidrug sites
This expired domain managed to escape the penilty filters

Linked images yes.
But I did a little discovery that I wrote about here, where I found that alt-text on a image that is on the page and it's not linked brought that page to the 34th position. It was in that position for around 24 hours before it dissapeared again.
What is most interesting is that www.biogime.no has very few links pointing to it (around 2 - 300 in total), but it has been in Google's index since the nineties.
I always try to find some way to actually check if a theory I read about might be true or not.

I'm seeing http://www.v7ndotcomelursrebmem.net/ on the #1 spot at a number of data centers - here's one example IP - looks like this will go down to the wire and we could have a photo finish! ;-)
What does it look like over in Japan John from the judge's computer?
