For those interested, I have screen shots from Google, MSN, and Yahoo just after 24 hours from the start of the contest on my V-E charity page in the 2006/01/16 update. Google has ten results (often showing zero, but always some funny Adwords), MSN as zero, and Yahoo has 274 ... with the V-E charity site ranking #1 - Yahooooo!

I've been seeing those results all day now. Some crazy dudes think thats just a Base search. It's more like Base results showing up in the normal search in some data centers!!

So, I'm wondering...
I have actually never, ever spotted any Google Base listings in Google's normal SERPs. Could it be that Google Base urls are only included in searches from within the US?
Even when searching via the Google Datacenter Whatch tool at
http://www.mcdar.net/dance/index.php all I get is that spelling suggestion.
I do however get results when searching Google Base and Google's Blog search.

It's normal search results integrating Base results based on your search history (cookie data) - I've also seen Google Base results showing local targeting based on my previous Google.com searches (toolbar mostly) based on cookie data.

Google Base is in BETA... so we won't know how it effects the SERP's... unless of course you read the about page
Here's my vote for the winner
ah... this is almost as good as a hot tub, cigar, & a hot red head

I really like your page and the way you have linked it to just about every PR10 page I know of. And you're right. I think that will do your page a lot more good than accepting Sarah's blog spam.

What strikes me is how fast Yahoo is showing results, compared to Google, who still gives me a blank page except for the paid ads.

And since the whole contest is directed at Google SERPs, it should tell us something I think. A non-existing search phrase consisting of two unique and likewise previously non-existing words... How har would it be to filter this out?
However. We could broaden this. How many of you know for sure that Google has indexed your pages on this? I know for sure that Googlebot was there at 22:29:17 GMT+1 this evening. But my page was a latecomer in the competition.
