SEO Contest Tracking

In this thread we want to track the contestants progress. A few things we want to take note of:

URL of Page
Number of Inbound Links at Start
Number of Inbound Links at Finish
Age of Domain
Total Page IBL vs LinkDomain
Primary SEO Tactic
Source of Linkage
Keyword Density
Number of Outbound Links on Page
Percenatge of OBL as Total of Links on Page
Heading Tags (Yes or No)
Bold (Yes or No)
Italics (Yes or No)
Percentage of IBL Using Keywords as Anchor Text
Keywords in Page Title (Yes or No)
Total Word Count on Page

If there are any other factors worth monitoring (and I'm not saying all of these are worth monitoring) speak up now.

Another thing I'm interested in is the percentage of text which is linked. Not aware of a tool out there that checks this.

For example, if we took a page that had just this on it:

Hi I'm Bob and I'll be going to South America

It would have be 20% linked. (10 words, 2 linked) Just one of those things I've been curious about.

A lot of these things I haven't thought about (how they may impact rankings). With 4 months time in the contest, there's plenty of time to try stuff out!

I think we could detail more "Source of Linkage", detailing "quality" links, PR, text around link (remember Cutts saying Google might discover sponsored links), IP, amount of links in linking page, domain of linking page (some say too much about .edu and .gov), amount of links to us in linking page...

I think that this SEO contest can be very interesting.

Long ago... I hep'd out G.W. when "miserable failure" in google was a big deal... I was a team leader here in WA for the GOP online... and we managed to get the jackhole that started that to show up #2

Now I work for a Democrat Congressman
