Post a link to it when you are done. Remember to mention their sites, so I can put them on nofollow in our directory when I know what sites they are running for the contest. I'm not keen to get punished by google for linking out to bad neighbourhoods.

Be sure to review the methods used. I don't see them doing so much evil. Just looks like a lot of linking and keyword density to me.

Talking about bad neigborhood, there is worse than listing the TT pages in your directory. Someone might submit your directory into one of our link farms

I really don't define linking as black hat. About the only thing I would call black hat is IP delivery. And that really doesn't apply here, either. I mean, are consumers going to be looking for v7ndotcom elursrebmem? No, so it really doesn't matter how somebody gets to #1.

I agree John. IP cloaking is not a problem here. The important thing in a SEO contest is not page content, but page ranking in the SERPs.
The only real black hat stuff could be googlewashing. But some say Google has fixed the problem. Maybe the contest will tell us whether they are right

Well, the thing is that polandpoint.com is ment to become a serious business directory. We have to be careful with it.
I don't take any chanches to getting it banned because of this contest.. It's nothing personal guys
