I had to ask someone who John Scott is, as I'd never heard of the guy before. And then I was told he had actually put up a Jill Whalen hate site some while ago. Maan! Is that a small and pitiful deed for a grown man to be renowned for?

Then, I have to be pointed even further, to some very derogatory comments from a person I've never met (same John Scott) at his blog, taking a serious pop at me as though I'd insulted him personally in some way?
A man I've never met who doesn't even have the good manners to contact me directly (I'm not very hard to find) and have a quick chat if he's pissed with me about something.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as a sponsor of this thing to the tune of a grand, which was for nothing more than fun (as everyone is calling it), should I really have to accept this childish school playground goading and disrespect.
I wonder if someone could remind me again. How much is this John Scott character, full of his own importance, putting into his own competition... for the FUN of it?

Suppose the best course of action would be to answer it in your blog and mention that you called him to sort things out amicably but he refused to talk.
