Your site is attacked what would you do?

Your in 4th place in the v7n contest suddenly your site drops along with the 3 sites above you. You do a little research and find your site and the 3 sites above you have been attacked. You can replicate the attack. You have a good idea who launched the attack. all your sites linking to your site also have droped including revenue generating sites you have lost over $1000.

I say, if a site was attacked, return the favor, but don't do so without proof that the person you are attacking is guilty of the initial attack.

What would I do?

- I won't tell anybody (because I won't be proud of it)

- I wil return the attack only if I had the proof of the attack and the site which attacking me

But how can you be sure your site was attacked?

I have lost 26 positions yesterday, I never thought my site was attack... And today my position is +30...

The attacker would be a good black hat seo and have good postion in the contest as they have taken out the leaders. I have proof I was attacked. there is no defense for this attack.

Have you considered that your drop could just be the result of other contestants' efforts to rank their own sites? Many guys in this contest have great SEO skills. Their sites just passed yours. Cruel life

you may as well turn this into a world war rather than a simple international debate and let us know why you think Tom and the taggle guys did this.

Maybe just give it a little time and see if you bounc back. I've been flowing from 4-10th and disapearing every once in a while myself but I don't think I've been attacked...

(although I am in a less competitive contest.)
