While doing SEO or SMO we need to impress someone. On SEO we have to impress search engines so content should be specific. And on SMO we have to impress human so content should be unique and specific

Both have there own importance in a different aspects of a blog or website. I think you cannot compare relationships and content, because content is an off site factor and relationships are on site factors. But they are both interconnected and depend upon each other. If you have good relationships who are willing to come at your blog but if the content of the blog is not valuable than it will be disappointing for them and they will not suggest your blog to there readers. Similarly if you have good content but have no connections you will experience lack of response which will may demotivate you

You are absolutely right but many people ignore this concept they only focus on just increasing baclinks instead of optimizing the content also.

Both Content and good backlinks are more important. but some sites like matrimony, real estate and more dont need to the importance of content. That kind os sites should have trusted on quality backlinks.

Forget about him. Content is always king and will always be. Proper optimised content can get you positions where links cant get you. But at the same time good content cant always get your positions for competitive keywords, so here you need to get backlinks..

Man, Content is always King. No one can beat you if you have good and useful contents. Search Engines will have to rank you better if you have quality content. Relationship also matters, but not as much as the contents.
