Placed 34,874 in Google for 'SEO' keyword

I need some feedback

I have developed a Java program which goes off and finds exactly where a website is for a certain keyword e.g.

www.company.com for SEO = 34,874 in Google

and then 7 days later goes off again and does the same, e.g

www.company.com for SEO = 32,987 in Google

and then it compares both and graphs them so you can see results (it does the same for Yahoo and MSN). It also shows statistics and Search Engine keywords among other great SEO things....

Question is would you pay €30 a month for this service (comes with web admin and email reports each week.

Huh. No, I wouldn't. I think that there are tools that already do that. You could sell the script outright and make money.

The reason I developed this is that I don't get this anywhere else. Alot of SEO companies have it but the report is always N/A or not in top 100.

I want to know exactly WHERE ..... and then see the figure next week ..... so I can see am I doing good or bad...

To me €30 ($35) would be excessive. I would rather buy it for a $100-$200 somewere.

I see that as a nice service for people like "SEO for hire" to send out reports to their clients. But you got to add on more services for that price and of course have really nice looking reports.

Well why not use googlerankings.com? If you aren't in the top 1000, then you shouldn't even worry cuz nobody will EVER see your website in Google Listings.

Maybe hosting firms buy it and give as bundle with hosting plans. Otherwise i wouldn't pay 30EU for this.

It's a neat idea, but not something you can really charge for. We have a similar tool called the SERP Tracker that we give away for free.

I would also be wary as a user regarding how you're getting such deep ranking results. You should really be using the Google API, and their API only allow 1,000 searches each day. We handle that limitation by making each user use their personal API key. This works great, and the Google API team even sent us an email message stating that our service was completely within their terms of service, and wished us luck with our project.

No afraid it wouldn't appeal, plus there are pleny of other free tools out there.
