Exclamation Sites defaced - SEs denied access

All of my approximately 25 sites dropped out of the SE db simultaneously. I discovered that some sites had their index pages replaced with my portable restroom page. After that, I discovered that the bots were getting 404 errors on the HTTP get index pgs., but ONLY MSN, Google and Inktomi/Yahoo. The access pages show requests for HTTP 1.1, but the error pages show "unable to find /bin/keysync.cgi-bin/" file. Does anyone have any idea what that's all about? The admins at my server can't find any malicious scripts on the server, so I'm ready to leave them after so many years. MSN is investigating this and is baffled by it. I see Yahoo using their Chinese location, which is able to access my pages. Google is using a special probe to access without success. It would seem that someone has denied only certain IP access to the 3 major SEs. Pages in question are located at www.presenting.net/clients.html. If anyone sees anything that I need to change or knows what would cause this on a Linux server, PLEASE help me. I'm in danger of losing my business.

On a linux box? That's could be an issue where SEs crawling your site may have set off some type of filter. For example on my DLLDB.com site some clown was scraping my content and downloading files which got his IP blocked.

Your host may have done the same to multiple SE bots.

Even if thats not the case I see no reason to panic here.... Drop this incompetent host (I say incompetent because they dont seem too helpful) and get a new host, which of course brings new IPs.

Then contact each SE and explain the problem and what you've done to correct it.

i would switch hosts IMMEDIATELY, that is a sure sign of a blacklisted or penalized IP, I don't think anybody is nessecary responsible for it, or at least did it purposely, but your safest step from here is probably finding a new host, and if you already have 25 sites I would just get a dedicated box with your own ip's...just my opinion

If I had 25 sites I would get several host 5 or more. Hosting is cheap
Different IPs will give your links more power and If one goes down you only have 5 sites down max. get better host for your sites that earn money and split them up between 2 or more hosts you can use cheap hosting for the rest

Sites Defaced

Thanks so much for all of the good advice. I especially like the idea of having more than one server. Someone at my server told me that they were looking into the meta tags on the Linux server with SE IPs, I guess. I just don't understand how the crawlers got my robots.txt files and weren't able to access anything else. Weird.
