Free Tool That Combines Overture and Wordtracker
Nothing too big... put it together in a few minutes the other night, but figured it would be of some use to the SEO world...

It's not mine... They just asked me to be one of the authors.
I'll see if I have any pull, because yours is one of my favorites.

The SEO Chat forums are not even properly indexed. I take that as a bad sign - indexing of forums is basic SEO.
Btw - as for the tool itself - it is the free Wordtracker trial only, yes? In which case, the data seems a little misrepresentative - especially where the Wordtracker data is effectively stated as less important. The paid for service apparently includes Google results, which are obviously far more important than Overture results for most SEO purposes.
Doesn't Overture also include page views in their stats as well, rather than just plain searches??
Splitting the results down to per day isn't necessarily the greatest idea either - it makes the Wordtracker results hard to differentiate when it's reduced to just a couple of decimal places.
What is perhaps most important in such searches, though, is the relative importance of keyword and keyword phrases, rather than the actual isolated traffic figures for any particular term.
The tool does a very good job of showing that quickly and easily across both. I guess I'm just nitpicking.

I agree though, in that it does make Wordtracker look less important. I went ahead and gave Wordtracker a multiplier of 60 on the tool, to try and even them out a bit...

Not on the suggestion tool. You can get them if you are an Overture advertiser though.

Thanks for the clarification. You would never guess I'm not an Overture user, would you?

DigitialPoint Rocks, doesnt he!
Of course he had to build a competing FREE tool to my non-free SEO Count tool. But I forgive him.
Great forum you got here - i'll have to stop by more often.
