One v7n we are getting 45% of search engine referrals from Google and 42% from Yahoo.
Wondering what other peoples stats look like.

I actually get 600 uv per day from MSN but only 200 from Google.
Both list me on the first page for my main keyword (If I set google t show first 100 ) but I'm #1 on MSN and #50 on Google

For a site tha'ts ranking fairly well, I'm getting about 500 uniques from Google per day and about 300 from Yahoo. My conversions however are (not much of a surprise) much better w/ Yahoo traffic. Google traffic converts for me at about 1.5-2% whereas Yahoo gives me almost 5-6% conversions. Even more screwed up than that, although I get more sales from Yahoo, the customers i'm getting from Google are spending almost twice as much as the average spend on Yahoo. It all kinda evens out in the end, but interesting data nonetheless.

On all of my sites I get 80 to 90% from google. For the topics I cover MSN and Yahoo are filled with either spam or news stories. If people want relevant information for the topics I write about apparently they need to use Google.

This is from my send--flowers.co.uk stats for this month:
Google 366 366
- MSN 98 98
- AOL 12 12
This site is less than a month old and hasnt got a single hit from yahoo yet.
We are #1 in msn.com for send flowers uk
We are #1 in msn.co.uk for send flowers
Absolutely nowhere in google for anything less than 3 words.
Yahoo hates us, im thinking double hyphen related.

I'm previ to a lot of traffic results from a number of clients we offer tracking services too. Google average around 52% of all traffic here in the UK, In my opinion MSN and Yahoo are still well behind in traffic refferals and will be for some time to come.

for similar keywords it's always
Google > Yahoo > MSN
But MSN typically ranks me high before the other two (although Google seems to index me quicker).

Our Google referrals just jumped up quite a bit and now we're getting 50% of SE referrals from Google.

that's interesting. is this relative to the search terms though? I mean... do you have a lot of search terms doing very well in Yaho, and perhaps not as well in Google and MSN?
I'm finding MSN to be easier to get ranked in but almost worthless traffic wise. funny thing is, I'm actually starting to prefer it from a consumers stand point as well.

Another weird thing is that Urchin doesn't seem to count Yahoo referrals when it lists my popular keywords. But yes, on Yahoo, I have a lot of #1 and #2 rankings. Not enough to send me 500,000 people a day (those stats were just for March) though.

yeah it's funny. I don't have a very many good keyword ranks in Google yet, but I have quite a few top 10 in MSN... yet the Google ones bring more traffic.

Hey everyone. I just noticed something from this thread that could benefit all of us.
Its from one of Jame's posts:
yahoo.com:80 151
It you goto google.com:80 yahoo.com:80 search.msn.com:80, etc when searching for your own site you wont artificially inflate your webstats.
