Do you think building links through Blog commenting are really worth?

Yeah ofcouurse , getting back links from the blogs are very useful , if they are relevant sites and if the site have good content and pr you site will get more benefit from that back link.

blog comments are useful to get traffic.Mostly Commentators will use the same words which you have posted in the blog. so that your site will be found on the SERP for those keywords.

yes. Blog commenting is useful to promote the position of keywords when use the dofollow blogs for that. Another important way is don't use the post which one has high comments in a blog for comments. Because Google is not crawled all pages in a sites.

Indeed yes, blog commenting is very useful. But you have to make sure when you are commenting you should make it meaningful and not just for the purpose of promoting your site.

Like many of above members here I also believe that blog commenting is genuine way of getting good backlinks. Specially if you comment on a blog of same theme to your site and using the policy of having keyword in anchor text plus dofollow as well then it can really prove good for your site ranking.
