haha, nope, I beleive every domain other then the .edu, .org, .net and .com are country domains. It just happened that the domain for the country Tuvalu worked really well for TV shows so the country is selling the domain as a means of generating revenue. The country only has a population of about 12k and a GDP of about 13 million, so being able to sell domains at 40-50 bucks a pop is a pretty good deal for them.

www.tv which is the official site for .tv domains sells them for $50/year, that is for basic domains. They have 'premium' domains reserved and have set a price for each of them depending on their value. They want 1mil for business.tv and 100k for games.tv.
