cant seem to get listen in google

Hi,
I have a slight problem. My website www.theneverendinglovestory.com have been up on the internet for approximately 3 weeks now. However google still have not indexed it into their database. My email to them seem to return a autogenerated response. I have tried searching both "theneverendinglovestory" and "theneverendinglovestory.com" but none has of the results were right. One of the results show my blog address which has a link to it. Can anyone help me on this issue. Any opinion/solution to this issue is greatly appreciated..

p.s: Try to ignore my blog. Its a personal blog

for all my friends and may have lots of sensitive issues and vulgar words.

It really comes down to having incoming links to the site. If you focus on increasing your incoming links, the site will be fully indexed rapidly.

Cricket said it well. The only links that I'm seeing to your site, when checking MSN, are from this forum. Those will help, but you need more link pop to get fully indexed and if you expect to receive traffic.

This case is not unusual wengyan. When I checked for backlinks pointing to your site, "link:www.theneverendinglovestory.com" I found no page linking to it. No wonder Google could not seem to find it and index. Take time to obtain links from other pages, it should be fine.

Hmm you are not promoting your blog eh? You sure you want people to ignore your blog?

hahahha... despite what it may look like . Yes i do want to keep my blog private. Much too much personal opinion and vulgarity there.. Want to keep a good impression of myself here.. hehe.. Anyway whats more important is my website.. not my blog.. hehe

Yeah neat concept and well designed, other than loading a little slow. Get those links out there and google will come your way soon.

I thought it's a marketing effort to make people feel intrigued and do a "why does wengyan not promote her blog? lemme check it out..." approach. Did Google try to ignore the site instead of the blog? Hmm.. Kidding wengyan.

Patience is the key. But of course it comes with effort to promote the site through gaining links and providing navigable pages.

Really appreciate it guys. Yeah i was thinking of my website in the long run. None of the dedication is faked and i did not want to beg people for their dedications. Always believed that a great product sells by itself. hahah At least i would like to think so.

Currently upgrading the website features with auto email forms and dedications locator. Its a real headache. ... hehe.. Just a thought..Would you guys be interested in helping me develop or beta testing the site ? No... ggrrrrr.. why not?.. hahahahaha.....

The way i see it, i will never really lose out with this particular idea. Even if i get 5 dedication a month, in would still be the largest collection of love dedication in 10 years time. Hahaha.. or maybe my children can take over the website and they would be the owner of the world largest love dedications site in the future . It would be like planting an giant [url="http://library.thinkquest.org/J002415/Famous_Trees/General_Sherman/general_sherman.html"]tree[ ./URL] Guiness and Ripley's will be waiting. Wish me luck guys..

P.s: By any chance, would you guys wanna dedicate. You do know its free right ? If not please do tell me the reason, i am doing a survery about my idea..

wooo hooo... just to tell you guys.. My website is indexed in google now.. Hahaha took google nearly 3 weeks to index my website.. Geez..

Google indexes websites according to your importance. If you were not indexed by Google quicker, it could be because you probably had a few links to your website from other low ranked websites.

Linking to your site in your sig was a good first step, try to do it in more forums that you participate, it's good for you and its good for them that you're participating. Forums ruled by good people will allow your link in the sig and will not put a nofollow tag in it, like here.

I usually do that and get indexed in a week or so, but it's slower because I think they're integrating the BigDaddy DataCenters, anyone know when that'll be done?

Hmmm... never thought google would indexed a website so slow. I always thought it would only take a day or two.

Nevertheless i am very glad my website is up and running smoothly. Finally able to show off the finished product. Took me ages to fine tune the website..
