I made enough updates in my metatags to put me on the first page in Yahoo (for the moment) I noticed there is no description or cached for my web site. Why is that and what do I need to do?

it may happen if your site has low quality or quantity of inbound links.
keep building links and this may be solved.

automaticwirecutter.com. I welcome any suggestions you may have. I have been struggling with how to improve for the search engines, probably like everyone else. Has your site been crawled recently by Yahoo?

More backlinks will help your site to be crawled more frequently.

Metatags aren't really that important today. Focus on the title and content of each page of your website.

Yahoo! is not great at getting past javascript when it's at the top of the code.

First and foremost, I would try to make my top 3 metas (title, desc., keywords) the first thing under the <head> element.

Further, your title is likely being regarded as KW spam - make it shorter, relevant, and less spammy on "tubing".

The same could be said for your for your keywords tag - way too much "cutter" in there IMO.
