Linking Strategy

Okay.

I have Site A which has a searchable list cottage ads in Cumbria
I have Site B which is travel guide for Cumbria.

In Site B I want to link to the all of the cottage ads in Site A

Both sites are on the same host but different servers.

Would you have any doubts in undertaking such a linking strategy?

I want to know if search engines would frown against such a link strategy

oh, lol Im no SEO expert, but I have read that it is not good to 'duplicate content' to keep away rippers. But that doesnt sound like they would catch it as being duplicated, as long as there is other content, as I am sure there is.

Well it's just a link - no copying of content whatsoever

My guess is that it might trigger some kind of negative effect if the sites don't have a decent % of their links coming from other sources.

I wish I knew for sure, I'm always hesitant to interlink sites too closely.
