Is Article Prism still an effective link building strategy?

As we know after the Google panda update most well known article sites have lost their previous authority. However many seo companies today demand article prism to be one of the effective link building strategy. To what extent do you agree with it? Have you tried it for yourself?

Just create good content worth linking to, and forget about "prisms", "pyramids", and other useless linking "shapes".

I prefer relevant guest blogging to submit article instead of submitting well known article sites

The decent article sites are very fussy about what they publish now and the Panda seems to respect that. Use article sites that demand proper grammer, useful articles and relevant content. If you can just upload and submit, your article may well be ignored

Yeah in these days also article submission is most effective link building technique,only you have to choose 1000 high pr most effective article directories and submit your article in those directories you will get more quality back link and traffic to your website.
