Very true! One thing I think is lacking in the World of SEO is 'evidence' - people give so many suggestions of what to do but it's mainly hear-say. We want links to statistical evidence please

Infographics! This link bait technique is really powerful. It has been so popular. Other than being detailed, infographics are also compelling because of the designs and images as well.

On my opinion .. You have to do it all this year There's no guarantee that this method will work or this one or this one. You have to be diversified. Don't stick on 2-3 methods.

ok I am no expert but these are working for us: social bookmarking, directory listing, social media sharing and building a large fan base on facebook. Our brand page on Google + is also picking up. Focusing on slow organic growth and have got a .gov link!

I use Link wheels, forum signatures, blogs, directories and Google Webmaster Tools. Just remember the dofollow code and use SeoQuake or some similar plugin to help.

It would depend on the trends of search engine algorithms. I just have to keep track of the changes that happen so that I'll know if my techniques are actually doing something good for my site or not. So far, what works back in 2011 still works for me.

SEO practices and strategies are always same. We can do research and find new ways of marketing our website but the basic concept will be the same. All we have to do is creating quality back links, methods can be different but target is same.

Well what i think google is much looking towards tha content and ON page SEO of site . As there are many sites with zero PR but they are one first page of google . So try to post useful and appealing post .

In my own view, there are no exact strategies that we can all come up to for a year - mainly because in a year, the market changes and so we should. As our targets change, we also tend to change by going to what is trending. Though I myself has implemented already a "strategy" it does not mean it will be my strategy for the whole year.

We can stay on the conventional SEO methods, but our view on how will we use those on our campaigns are all different.

I have to agree that social media and particularly Google+ will be important. Especially given the 'search plus your world' feature from Google.
