Search Term 'Search Engine' In Google

AltaVista is now on top ! in google for searchterm 'search engine'
i think this means that google didn't cheat the other time............

Samer's right. Screen shot attached, I edited it in MS Paint to save time so it's kind dithered.

How did AV get so high?

Well google is still on top with me. Its not my pc's cache or anything, i cleaned it, and its top on my 2 laptops aswell :-s

Do you have any particular settings/filters on for your searches?

Also - I remember John mentioned a while back that Google delivered different results according to IP. I wonder if there's a possibility of that here? Anyone else here from Ireland?

On a sidenote, Google is #1 if you search for "search engine", with the quotation marks.

Hello friends !!!!
before giving any comment on which is best search engine, I tried once practically and found that AltaVista is at top in the search results given by Google itself.
