Hey nice collection of keywords. Keyword stuffing is filling your pages with a lot of your desired keywords hopping it ranks in top results in search engines but it doesn't give this results and search engines easily detect it. Avoid Keyword stuffing, because this will marked your site as spam.

Where did you get that number? There was this reply to my question before regarding this on another forum that is somehow related to your answer. What if you have content, and you're reiterating the words to avoid subject and pronoun confusion, would that count as stuffing?

I'm using Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ for my social media efforts. If someone's going to ask me if I need to focus on just one, then that would have to be Facebook because of the large number of users that are active. Speaking of which, people have been talking about Facebook since they've released the timeline. ... I could go on repeating Facebook. Just to avoid subject and pronoun confusion, that is.

"Keyword stuffing" refers to the practice of loading a webpage with keywords in an attempt to manipulate a site's ranking in Google's search results. Due to the fact keywords are such an significant part of the element of your website content, they require extra special consideration.

It can be a fine line between normal keyword usage and keyword stuffing. The real test should be whether it reads normally or feels artificial. Google probably uses a more algorithmic approach and unless you know what it is then it's hard to know exactly how much you can use a particular keyword.

Use on page optimization tool to know how much percentage of keyword you are using. Using a particular keyword more than usual in a single post to get good SERP will be considered as keyword stuffing.

When I took SEO-content writing, there were much buzz about no more than 5-6% of keyword density being crucially important. All employers I used to work for (well over several dozens) demanded this percentage. And I must admit - I still don't know why. I've just been taking it as a universal truth until now, without even short thinking it all over. Pure me
Are there really no data on that?

Keyword

These are good keywords, you should use them.
Keyword stuffing is using keywords in excess. Good Keyword density is 2-3% beyond this limit use of keywords called keyword stuffing which is not good for a site.

As long as you don't put all those keywords all over again on a page wihout making a sense at all, then it can be considered as stuffing

Keep in mind to write primarily for humans. When inserting keywords on your content, don't overstuff it. Repeating keywords many times can affect the quality of your content. Your visitors can be turned off when they see your content full of overstuffed keywords.

I just read the new google algorithm penguin update and they are hitting keyword stuffing hard. Looks like they are targeting you if you're keyword density is too high. Also they are looking at people that put links in there content that is not in the theme of the content.

So i think the last post makes sense about only targeting 1 keyword per page but don't put it in there too much.

To add to that, its not just the content. Site titles, meta descriptions etc. I have seen a few hair raising site titles where you can clearly see that the person in control has tried their best to put as many keywords as possible in the title.

Top, middle, bottom. I generally just use one or two keywords in those areas, and make sure that the sentence structure reads normally. What normally helps me a lot, is if I get someone else to read what I have written for me, and then see where I can make changes. Linking is kept to a minimum as well. Primarily because I really don't like seeing so many lines under words, or having some written in different colors as it puts me off of what I am reading, because all those links distract me.
