Content of my blog is copied, Need Help !!!

A website has copied one article of my blog, i want to know that the ranking of my blog can effect if anyone copies my content and publishes on his blog ?

Don't worry,it can be harmful for that thief. It can affcet his website ranking.You can use DMCA to report that guy.

It isn't going to affect the rankings of your blogs because after Panda update such sites have been penalized and generally they don't be indexed or crawled. So, there is nothing to worry about.

Ya, DMCA is the great solution to report. Follow this guide:

Please check your article whether it's already indexed by Google or not. But in neither way, it's not going to harm your site, because Google can find the original source of the content & hence penalize the other site for duplicate content.

Of course it won't be harmful for your website... Additionally, it can be harmful for the content owner if ONLY the website of the thief gets indexed faster than the original one... which is low possible

no, my written article in my blog is already indexed and it is appearing on 2nd page of Google on its keywords.

DMCA notices are free to send - do not pay anyone to do this for you. Do a google search and you should be able to find a good dmca template to modify and send.

This will only apply if the host is in the US.

really ? someone told me that it is premium .... ok i am searching then. thanks for the info but is there any DMCA or any other company like DMCA provides free copyright banners ? if you know then tell me, i want to put a copyright notice on my blog.

Did the website owner include a link to your original article? If not, that's duplicate content and google will punish the site. But if he included a link to the original article on your blog, that's not duplicate. In fact his syndicating of your article would help your website ranking.

No. Copied content problem will occurred with that website who copied from your blog.

Since he added a link to the original article, it's not duplicating.

Be thankful they gave you credit and provided a linkback. Most people don't do this. Heck on v7n, i've caught people copying and pasting content to answer replies with no linkback to the original author or source. (They get infractions for copying and pasting though)

Think of this as a free backlink and Google would be able to determine that your article is the original anyways. The SEO and other blogs i follow, people link to blog posts on forums and on blogs always but provide a linkback. You don't see for example searchenginejournal blog telling V7N to stop linking to there blog posts to dicuss on this forum.

Now i already have complained Google Support against that website for duplicate content, as you said it will reject my complain. if Google rejects my complain then it also effect on my reputation and ranking of my website?
