Web copywriting

We don't really have a suitable forum for this. The Web Design forum is the closest but it's not the right place either - so I'm sticking it in here.

There are a number of articles about seo copywriting, such as the world's http://www.internet-marketing-resear...opywriting.php But those articles aren't about copywriting, they are about search engine optimization copywriting, which is different.

Anyway, I just found this site, which is about normal web copywriting, and is a must for every website developer - in my opinion. Even though the guy only lives about 10 miles from me, I'd never heard of him until I found that site.

Pandecta had a good one. The basic principle is, keep it short, break it up, and keep it digestable. It is very, very easy to lose the reader's interest.

That first site was toooooooooooooo loooooooooooooong man! I couldn't be arsed to read it. He could have distilled all that into 3 paragraphs. Get to the point.

Measuring how effective your copy is is just as important as the actual copy, something you can do easily online.
