Any new techniques of SEO??

As I am aware of SEO off page techniques like:
1. Article
2. Press Releases
3. Directory
4. Classified
5. Blogs
6. Forums
7. Css
etc..

I want to know is this is the only techniques to build back links for our site or there are many more from which I am not aware.

If there are many more than please share it here, it would be great help for me.

Profile creation is not same as forum. When we create a profile on websites we get to place the links on our profile page in about me section or some other section. These are sometimes also referred as angela and paul style of link building because they introduced it and also sell monthly packages which includes websites where a profile can be created with dofollow backlinks.

Hmmm. Forgive my ignorance, but would this not be a bad approach to link building? I mean if you focused solely on profile creation with little or nothing to back it up, or just concentrated on dofollow, would that not raise an alarm bell or two at G headquarters? Also, if these sites are only used to create profiles, how much authority would they really have if they are nothing but pages with profile backlinks?

I suggest you:
1. Create a profile in slideshare.com and upload presentations with keyword in titels and description
2. Create a profile in flicker.com and upload photos with keywords

Squidoo Lens Creation is considered one of quickest way to get backlink. Social media sites like Facebook, twitter, pinterest etc You may post the link of your site on your profile and its updates on your wall. You can also create a fan page about the product/services offered in your website.

Squidoo and Hubpages work well. And to be an active blog commenter, but posting a quality reply not just a quick un-useful reply. it will probably be marked as spam if you don't provide a quality reply on others blogs.

New SEO? There has not appeared anything really innovative for the last two years I suppose, except Pinterest maybe (just if to treat another social network as something unique and not a part of well-proven system). Thus I don't really believe in Pinterest.

Guest blogging and social media are good. Actually current SEO techniques are not really new. Those are just rebranded. Good luck to your SEO.

There aren't any new techniques that I know of, but there's something that's worth mentioning when it comes to how you actually do some of those off-page techniques that you've mentioned. When you link build with the purpose of leaving a link on a page at the front of all things, you're bound to fail. You should focus on true interaction with the people rather than just leaving a link that doesn't even give value to the post and the other comments.

What exactly is CSS?!? Do you mean anything else or the thing I am thinking about... I don't think CSS can help you for SEO anyhow... Maybe you wrote some mistakes // BTW I agree with your others suggestions for very good SEO techniques

there other somant techniques in SEO but these are major which you have mention and my friend its easy to do but its so huard to do it proper so you don't think about quantity think about quality which is so important in SEO.

Aside from that, many of these techniques are more harmful than helpful. Unless I warped back into the 1980's? Google is ever changing. It''s algo discounts, and even frowns on some of these "techniques", like many directories and classifieds to name a couple. Google wants it's results to be useful, not "spammy", hence the "Penguin" and "Panda" updates. Just create quality content that is useful and "worth linking to", and the rest will follow.

Yahoo answers and the 100+ other similar sites are good for backlinks, and Google loves yahoo answers in particular. Need to reach level two though before you can start posting links, which shouldn't take long.

using pinterest can help you spread your links.

Before creating links for your site , better to review and remove the old links that is not helpful for your site. You can also submit your articles to sites with high pr and related to your website
