Anyone have a clue what's going on with MSN?
Lost a bunch of ranking in this latest MSN serp change.
I've read plenty of blah blah blah about it, but no one really has a clue yet what's going on.
Any ideas?

I lost all 50 of my top 10 keywords the same week, they are steadily going back up to former glory..

They should be regaining rank in a week or so unless you did major changes to your sites...

tell you what, I noticed that some of the search results were mimicking google's SERP's. As scary as that sounds.

I lost quite a few good rankings for all of my sites.

I'm hoping that they come back over the next couple of weeks. I was actually getting quite a bit of traffic from MSN.

I went from getting about 3000 visitors per day from MSN on www.excessively.net to about 20 per day. Very bad news. Hopefully it will pick back up soon.

well i think that its just that thier own way of recycle of the search results that they usually make .
its just an opinion i really dont know whether its due to that or not .

I am seeing mostly sites with keyword stuffed domain names / URLs. THe results look terrible and one of my sittes lots many page one listings. I hope they change this algo back.

MSN rankings are generally good when it comes to video game related content. One of mine www.whatconsole.co.uk always does well but for all other sites I own Google is miles ahead.

MSN gets more complex in trying to catch up with Google. If IE7 is going to have MSN Live as its primary search tool, I bet it should be rather good one.

Some people complaining that they got less traffic from MSN recently, but that could be adjusted to seasonal fluctuations. Memorial Day dumped a lot of Internet activity.
