Alexa Ranking-Good Methods?

set up a new site for adsense one money ago but alexa ranking is so low,
how can i up my ranking, what should i do?

anybody have some ideas about this, please help

I'm not sure why you would want to raise your Alexa ranking. It's pretty meaningless and having a better Alexa raninking isn't going to bring more traffic to your site.

Alexa ranking is based only people who have the Alexa toolbar installed. If it's really important to you to have a better Alexa rank install the toolbar and visit your site. You can also have your friends install the toolbar and visit the site. It's still not going to mean you'll get more traffic.

If you want to improve AdSense earnings set up channels in your AdSense control panel and start measuring which ads do better so you can use more of them and less of the underperfomring ads. Also try placing the ads in different place on your pages and again measure. Try blending the colors of your ads with the colors of your site.

The trick with increasing CTR with AdSense is to test new ads (type, location, color, etc) and measure the results.

Other than that you want to increase traffic. Increasing traffic will be more than any rank whether it's Alexa or Page Rank. Learn what you can about optimizing your site for search engines as well as marketing your site in general.

you are right i just want increase my adsense earnings,
also i want to use my site to apply for some affiliate programs, i expect if my site have high ranking on alexa, it is easy to get approved, that is my thought, do you agree with me on that? thank you reply

Okay otherwise here are few tricks for Improving alexa rankings
[1] http://www.fakerank.com/ Visit the site and you will know how to do that

[2] Download alexa toolbar and search for "related to your site" and you will see improvements in Alexa ranking within a few days

Alexa ranking is not relavant they can be used for comparision but don't take them seriously

In my opinion, the Alexa ranking is virtually useless.

Why do I say so?

1. 80% of internet users have no idea what Alexa is anyway.
2. It provides no benefits except as a feel-good factor by seeing your website rank better when it updates itself (hopefully)
3. It is easily manipulated.

Try this quick-fire method of gaining Alexa rank.

Just go to www.alexa.com everyday and type in your website name in the Traffic Search section. Then click on the link to your website. Do this daily, and everytime Alexa updates itself you should see yourself jump by about 100,000 websites.

And that's the reason why Alexa can't be trusted for anything besides wishful thinking and a just-want-to-know attitude towards seeing your rank.

I suggest building up on your content and perhaps using some SEO methods.

Forget Alexa. Period.
