Why do these sites Exist?
I understand WHAT they do, but why? Is it just to build the PR of the front page? They do not seem to generate any revenue. I have the button on my directory, and as far as I can tell, it has not generated more than a few visitors.

Possibly it's just the spin-off by a proper website owner who set this one up to boost his original website.
