how to index your site with google quickly?
It is not a new post here ,however i only want to tell you what i know, and it is fit for newbie and not for
experienced people. As a new site, the first thing the webmster should do is to write some unique content ,search
engine like it very much, and do not forget to write page meta tag, like meta name and meta content. The second thing
is to link back from some high PR site, one or two sites is enough,of course, the more the better,if you are will to
do so.With a high PR your sites will be found easier,i have done so for a site of mine, you can go here for example,
www.english-teachers.net ,it just need about two month to go to PR5,and i only published my first link on
www.sitesforteachers.com .The third thing is to show your subdomains as much as possible, you can wirte some articles
and put your subdomains in it .

I can suggest that you submit your sitemap(s) to Google SiteMaps, which helps get it indexed soon!

Yep I agree. Somehow get a link from a high ranking page and Google will gobble it up with glee!

I agree with all statements made above. I'd just add, if you run a blog then add your feed to, say MyYahoo and ping the blog through Pingoat or Pingomatic...then wait for few hours and you'll be spidered
Very nice trick for bloggers...

putting a link in a busy and high pr site to be found by the google spider is generally true...
however, i've experience in 2 instances that the google spider is stubborn and refuse to spider my site. in the first instance it took months while in the second instance, the site is still not indexed...
the site is in my signature (about bird flu) and i have it in most of my accounts in forums. it's about 3 weeks old and yet to be spidered by google - yahoo and msn is ok...

For fast indexing, add sitemap in your site & also try to get some more high quality backlinks. When your backlinks are more then it helps in fast indexing.

What exactly are we supposed to learn from the two links you include. I think I used to use sitesforteachers - isn't that a toplist? Are you saying that toplists are good for passing PR?
I would say that running your own toplist is a good way tog et PR. People desperate for traffic will give you big homepage links hoping to make it to your 1st page...
I should get on that...

sitesforteachers is a good site to get high PR ,and you need to sent traffic to their site for getting higher position in their site,so i insert their link in my first page.It is a good idea to run your own toplist to get PR.And in my experience education sites normally have a high pr,you can go to their sites to get PR

And then link back and forth between your blog and website.
Also, I use Feedburner, and their publicity tool BuzzBoost republishes your blog's feed as html, here's my webpage with all my blogs' feeds: http://www.7affiliatecentral.com/blogs.htm
That page on my site has the highest Google pr.

When I want to get a new site indexed I just stick a link in my signature in a few forums.

Yeah, and links from forums (reputable forums) are very good - they are displayed even in the official list of Google backlinks.
Or link from any other reputable site. And getting indexed within 2 days (my fastest experience) becomes possible.

If you do get some high PR pages (all relative) you could in addition also:
- Create a <forum rules>
- Link to it from all your pages / high PR pages
