I have now written and manually posted a few articles. I was cool with writing the articles, but the manual posting drove me crazy.

Can anybody suggest a good article posting service that will preserve the backlinks?

My experience is posting through a line of most famous article directories - and the rest goes virally. Up to 10 most popular directories will solve all your problems, because now half of the Internet is taking content from them.

Manual submission to 10 sites is not a hard job. IMO.

True true I submit to ezines and goarticles and now when you search "Ntwali Didier" in google you can find the articles in almost any article directory.

The only game in town I use for article submission service I met so far is Artemis Pro.
Why? It generates unique articles, not sending the same everywhere which will be removed from the search engines.

It's ok to submit a unique article to 100's of sites but you really only need to submit to the main ones as 95 % of the benefit comes from the top 5 sites.

however if you want to spend some time setting up the software and submit unique articles to a variety of ezines and sites then as the poster above said artemis is a pretty good solution.

Artemispro does have its strength against other article submitters
due to its ability to avoid the duplicate content penalty.
Furthermore, its super easy to use. No doubt about it.

I have dumped the Artemis idea. JohnScott thinks this may be TagTeam Spamming.

I have just posted a few articles using isnare. I will make sure that they are submitted to ezines and goarticles as well. I will stick to this strategy and not worry about the duplicating content problem......I will just write a hell of a lot more often!!!

I use a couple of ways. I like the idea of artemis pro and the "unique article" idea but I also like "submityourarticle.com" because you can just go in, put up your article and wait for the confirmation messages saying that a directory picked you your article.

Submit your article also gives you some stats.

Artemis pro pros/cons: Pro:Self contained, no monthly fee, unique articles, can build your own list.
Cons: No confirmation of reciept of article from target, smtp required for custom list.

Submit your article pro: mass distribution, easy, confirmations
Cons: monthly free, everyone gets the same article.

Thats my two cents anyway!

what are you considering as the ten most popular article sites?

i have submitted to article sites in the past, but found that Google does not really pick up any back links from these sites.

No Im still seeing mine there. Although IM also finding alot more people stealing my articles too...

As for most popular article sites, I only use ezine articles these days.
