What's your interest in SEO?
Being new to these particular forums, I wanted to gauge whom is here as far as the SEO boards were concerned. What I am interested in is how many folks are actually SEO/SEM service providers and whom are webmasters looking to learn about SEO?
So, where do you stand? SEO Provider? Or SEO enthusiast?

I just do my own site and am learning how to make the process better to do it myself. I run a total of 3 sites right now, and I have gotten a lot of great information to make them perform a lot better. I am no way looking at offering services or to become a professional SEO, maybe pro web designer and thats about it. Hmm, now that I think of it I guess if your a pro web designer you should be pretty good at getting it on the net...

well a 'pro' designer is technically anyone that has recieved any form of compensation for thier efforts... can do..lol
I find that designers/programmers/SEO folks all have their own mindset. Some intermingling of knowledge is great for all departments.

Ok, so we have a professional presence. That's great to hear!
As you may imagine, hanging out and helping noobs and enthusiats is fun and all, but it's nice to have a little 'shop talk' here and there as well.
Damned Page Rank got me on a journey into darkness, to kill the evil beast. As such I ended up here, DigitalPoint, SEO Roundtable etc... I am thinking of parking my SEO hat somewhere for industry chit chat... as such I wanted to get a feel for the population
Ya know?

Well, yeah, this is more webmaster/marketing oriented, but it is as good a place as any. A welcoming place too.

Though I can't claim to be making a lot of money with it, I do offer seo services and consulting and so would consider myself a professional. I started out just learning for myself, but once I hit a point where I felt I could honestly help others I added seo as a service.
One thing about choosing a forum. I wouldn't just limit yourself to one. Every forum takes on a certain personality and the thinking at each can lead you in one directions. Getting a more varied set of opinions is only going to help so you might be better off parking at several forums that offer diiferent viewpoints.

Aye, I have been on a quest to demystify Page Rank, that's how I ended up here. I am also on a variety of business forums as well as Sitepoint yada yada
It's a time thing. Not enough of it. What would you say is a good SEO stop?

If you're not comfortable with covering all the areas, start small. Many firms such as mine sub contract out may activities such as aspects of our link building programs, copy development etc....
