Bringing back-links from subdomains of a high Domain Authority Site

Hi,

I have been writing some articles on a website with domain authority of 93. Although the domain authority is 93, the page authority of my subdomain is 1. I joined that site a month ago. Yes, it's 1. That's very low. Anyone has any idea if this makes any sense. I mean if this is true, I will not get any value from that. Everything is really bad then.

As you probably know page authority is a different metric to domain authority.

A domain gets authority by getting links as does a page if your page doesn't have any links then it won't have any authority.

DA and PA aren't great metrics anyway as the OSE link index isn't as big as competitors like Majestic SEO.

dude reason is subdomains are not old ..

when you created they started appear in market ..

if you writting articles than i will suggest you to put same in your blog ..

even if you create any blog in blogger or wordpress than to DA will 1 or like that ..

to increase same you will need to promote your blog with DA=1 ..

so better to put your articles on your blog ..

Yeah. That's what I had in mind. I should have checked that before going about that. Anyways, twinkle. I guess Penguin 2.0 is out. I suffered a bit because of that. Anything you noticed?

You should promote your blogs on your created blogs like wordpress, blogger etc. And if you are trying to target the micro sites then check their age. And i also want to know about penguin 2.0? I heard it going to release in upcoming weeks.

If a domain got 9 and subdomain 1 its still a nice backlink. Subdomains always have lower mark.

Subdomains seem to be a tricky part of SEO. My experience tells me that high authority links from low ranked subdomains of high ranking sites are very worth it.

there is no official announcement about penguin 2.0 yet .. but yes it is sure from google that it is going to comeout ..

if you got drop in serp than there could be any of 200 reason of seo ..
