counting links

Does anyone know of a program that will count the number of external links from a page? and the number of links on that page to other pages in the same domain?

i could count, but that would just take forever!

Not sure exactly what you mean.. you want to count the links on YOUR site?

I don't care on who's site it is. just in general. basically take any random site. i want to know how many links are on the page. external and/or internal. is there something that can tell me this, or do i have to manually count each link, and mark it as internal or external?

i found back link checkers. but that is not what i am looking for. i know how to analyze my back links. what i want is to be able to count the total number of links on a page. take the page this thread is posted on for example.

to sit there and count every link in some one's signature, plus the ads and links at the top would take forever. surely there has to be some script someone has written to just count all of this automatically.

use Aaron's tool or widexl meta checker they will do that
