I only use a few good web2.0 sites:

Squidoo (great results!)
Hubpages
Tumblr
Wordpress
Blogger

Sometimes I am using more, but those are pretty enough for a small link building campaign!

My question is, are those web 2.0 sites really helpful for search engine? although those are dofollow but all those page are 0PR because you are creating new blog under those sites. so what do you think about it?

Mostly, this is a waste of time. Sites like wordpress, blogger do not allow you to submit content / write on their main page. You can start a site on subdomain, which will have ZERO PR. Or comment on other blogs with some PR, but you will get only nofollow backlinks. Any page with high PR, allowing anybody to write, goving away dofollow links, will be a spam haven, which means the only effect of such back links is potential penalty. So give up the idea and think of something better.

Forget the PR people. Its archaic, not irrelevant, but archaic.

I would suggest having a presence on multiple web 2.0 sites. But please do not do the age old thing where you just have a short article and a bunch of links. That wont work.

Make each property extremely personal, model a property on how a typical non-internet savvy person would maintain it.

If you can build something like that religiously, you can pretty easily succeed.

This. Being judicious with your links and focusing on quality over everything else is pretty much always going to be the best approach.

Yes, your question is very important here.. well, you won't get PR links but the main benefit is you get link from content.

You may rank your blog pages and get more benefit of traffic and backlinks as well.

This is not just about PR dude. This is for SEO purpose exactly
For everyone, do not always think about PR. We are creating web 2.0 for link juice, that's it.

I am totally agree with sitefocus. In web 2.0 sites we got subdomain url and need to create blog menu for submit content. We cannot add our content on direct home subdomain. After that we get a 0 PR home page URL. And we need to do lots of work to get good PR for that subdomain. It would be better do all work to get high quality links for our original URL or website.

Those are good ones, I also use Weebly for web 2.0s. I've actually ranked a site for a long tail keyword using it with no further backlinking on it, so it can be highly beneficial to your main site.
