Stop seeping Page Rank

If I have pages that have outbound links to websites for my users benefit and not for link exchange benefits should I tag the link "No Follow"? Or will it harm my site from a search engines perspective and/or from a potential link partner's perspective in the future who may think I do this for all links?

I ask because from what I have read, the outbound links are seeping some of my page rank that could be passed on to internal links instead and thus lowering my page rank of other internal pages.

Anyway, I would love any comments or suggestions regarding this tactic.

Ah, the ethics of nofollow. Instead of thinking in terms of pagerank, you might want to consider the effect of a large number of naked links on the ranking of the page in the SERPS. IMHO you don't want to have a lot of links to low trust sites without nofollow. I think Google intended it to block comment spam. I am sure that partners won't like it if they find a nofollow, of course.

Are they good and useful sites for your visitors? They should be.
If they are are, do not use the nofollow.

There are some that speculate that good links to authoritative sites actually helps you out in the serps. And that is what counts...unless you are selling pr.
