I was looking around and I found this new SEO contest and seeing how many people are intrested in this I thought I'd share.

These limitations may forever change the way we work and play online and preCharge believes this challenge needs some serious exposure before it's too late.
Contest starts Sunday August 19, 2006 and ends December 19, 2006. (duration is approximately 4 months) - Just in time for an extra special holiday surprise. We will even guarantee payment by December 24th, 2006 via Western Union or PayPal.
The URL who ranks highest on Google with a domain registered on or after August 19, 2006 wins for the phrase "precharge projectnet". There are currently no listings on this phrase so it's up for grabs.

The words "preCharge", "Save The Internet" or "preCharge ProjectNet" can not be used in the domain name itself as preCharge is a registered trademark and it creates an unfair advantage. This includes any variation there of including dashes, spelling variations or misspellings. This does not apply to sub directories.
preCharge moderators are eligible.
You must have at least 10 posts on preCharge to qualify for the week in which the prize is awarded.
Anyone caught cheating will be terminated without the possibility of winning or future eligibility.
Anyone caught using work that does not belong to them will be terminated without the possibly of winning future prizes.
Anyone caught using spam will be terminated without the possibility of winning or future eligibility. This means ALL types of spam.
All decisions by preCharge are final.
This contest is void where prohibited.

I made a small contest entry for this one currently I am doing the carcasherdotcom seocontest so I dont think I can spend to much time on this contest since all these SEO contests are a bit time consuming.
I would consider that to be a cheap way to increase a websites backlinks.
Offer a prize and then wait and see how many webmasters place links to your website.
I could index your website, edit the database entry and add a million links to your websites tables and bingo you would show up in every result dished out by my search engine ut it wouldn't be fair or accurate.
I wonder how some search engines may score the links to your website, some may punish such a volume of links appearing overnight.
As all the others already said... I am also already participating in some (I'll have no time for this one)
