Use RSS/XML data feed to provide site content- is it worth to do?
I read some blogs, and almost everybody emphasizes "Content is King". To get fresh and quality content, it is suggested to subscribe related rss/xml data feed and show the content on your website dynamatically. Then your site's content will change frequently and draw the attention from search engines.
My questions are:
1. Since content feed includes back links to the rss/xml site, at the same time we get fresh contents, we shows many back links to the rss/xml site. We actually add more votes on the site which back links point to, but our page is full of outcoming (not incoming) links. Do we lose the page weight because of those outcoming links?
2. If we lose the page weight due to outcoming links, I can modify the script to remove the "href" anchor tag and just show pure text when our page print the rss/xml content feed, is that a good idea? And is it against the RSS rules?
3. Since we use content feed, our web page will become same as the rss/xml site, it is just like we copy other sites. Again, do we lose the page weight for that?
All in all, using rss/xml content feed is a good idea for SEO or bad?
