I would like to recommend you to strongly follow the white hat SEO only. Gray Hat is a drive term only . Gray hat has no set of rules.

There is no such thing as black hat seo and black hat seo, google strictly defined that every link building of any kind of link to your own site is forbidden.

the trick is to great "white hat" links automatically

If link-building is "forbidden", can you tell us your "trick" to get links, and what exactly are "white hat" links, and why "white hat" links are not link building, which, by your definition, is "forbidden"?

I meant that it is forbidden according to Google, they penalize links that they think are unnatural, whether you created your link manually or automatically.

Any links intended to manipulate PageRank or a site's ranking in Google search results may be considered part of a link scheme and a violation of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.
what is "right" according to google just to create high quality content on your website, and somehow people will find your site and create links pointing to your site.

basically what google says all links that are made by you pointing to your site is blackhat no matter the quality. so the only white hat is to not build links.

but who really does that?

My way to get links is to create high quality highly spun articles, and submit the articles on my personal url list using programs that solve captchas and register to websites automatically.

Any kind of link you build, is unnatural, so that doesn't hold true. Threre may be better vids, but watch this one.

Spinning articles? Ya, what the internet needs is more spun spam. Auto-bot submissions - yup, spam. I can't believe this.

These terms are user driven, we cannot say much about it. Every person has its own definition. Grey Hat is middle of black and white, as the common sense say black is bad and illegal techniques while white is good one

I know three types:
  • Those things that work
  • Things that don't work
  • Things that can get you in trouble.

And none of them have any "hats".
