Picking Keyword and Diff IP's?

Hey All,

I know some stuff already regarding seo, like se friendly coding, inbound links and all that.

But now I am going to market a dutch website, but how do I find out which keywords I should go for?

I tried overture, and they give out numbers, but how do I know what is a good number and what isn't? They say the higher the better, but what is high enough to go for? And how do I put these next to each other, I mean competition and searches, so I can see what I should go for. Like how many competition is to much etc.

Also I heard hosting sites on different ip's is better for seo reasons. Is there a way to having all your sites with 1 host, but having all your sites at different ip's?

okay so there I can see how many times it's being searched for right? so how do I choose the right keyword? Like put the amount of searches against the competition, but what would be good numbers?

And John, what's the benefit of using an old domain name? I got 2 from 2003 and 1 from 2000...

If you can assign different IP (Host better also) and register every domain with different owner name, that can save you any future hassle in case the algorithm changes again and start notice if the sites are hosted on the same host and the owner of the domain is the same
