Why inbound link from class C ip address is appreciated ?

Because they are much more likely to come from deferent webmasters. You can easily own 1000 domain names but not 1000 Class C IP addresses.

Exactly. Think about having a site wide link for a moment. That could mean 100's or even 1000's of links from the same site, but are all the links beyond the first one really another vote or the same vote.

A link from each of two different sites is more meaningful than two votes from the same site.

Class C IP's carries that a step farther. I could easily create 100's or 1000's of sites on a server and send links from all to the same site, but how confident would a search engine be in those 'votes' for my site. It is harder to get multiple class C IP's so if you were to get a link from each of two different class C's it will count a little more than two votes from the same class C.

Links from different class C's are more indicative of 'votes' from different sources.

Basically Class C IP's prevent Google from believing that it is the same website as a site you have on another IP..

Google or any search engine is looking for sites that provide good content and resources to their searchers...

By getting links from various Class-C IPs search engines see that this site is worth something, this is the reason why different sites are linking to it.

Well if you have hundreds of sites on the same server and link them then search engine may treat it as spam... isnt it... and Matt Cutts himself said in his SEO videos... dont make 100s or 1000s of sites make 4-5 very good sites on which you can dedicate all your hard work... It makes sense.. that you cant really work hard on 1000s of sites.. but you can make your 4-5 sites really worth something...
