Rank Tracking Tool

I have used around dozens of rank trackers till date and would like to ask you guys about your experiences with different trackers and how accurate they are in terms of the reporting.

Currently i am using Ranktrackr and the experience has been really good and i also love their dashboard.

what about you guys?

Guys plz. dont get confused.....i have clearly mentioned i am getting good results with Ranktrackr and not ranktracker as a matter of fact i have even split tested the results of Ranktracker with Ranktrackr and have come to the conclusion that Ranktrakr is more superior and powerful.

The best way to check ranking manually. Apart from this, you can check ranking through Moz tool.

Perfect example of why I spend my time paying attention to my own stats and not wasting time with some rank tracker. Google uses 6+ data centers not to mention Google search results can be customized to your searching if logged in. I may show #1 in Texas and show #4 in Florida and show #6 in New York for the same exact keywords.

I've used both Rank Tracker and IBP to determine how close their results were - and they were pretty close. Both apps require periodic "search technology" updates, but I went with IBP as it also offers other various search parameters and functions Rank Tracker doesn't offer.

If I recall correctly, RankTracker is just one app amongst 4 or 5 that come with SEO Power Suite, but you can buy them individually too. With IBP, there are a bunch of apps included and you pay for "updates" for the one app - not all that are included. For SEO PS, I think you have to pay for updates for all the apps - ranking, link mining, Optimizatin etc.

I don't use most of the IBP features (some might argue if they are real features or not) but you can get keyword suggestions, CPC and competition searches, Optimization suggestions, rankings, Competitor spy, SE Submission (probably good for a new site - but not necessary) and about 5 or 6 other minor tools (html validator, spider simulator etc).

I'm sure you can do most of the above manually using other resources - but the benefit is that they're all accessible in one app and you can probably save your data that they return - probably a good thing to use.

Honestly, I've only used the ranking feature - it's all I've got time for these days.

When you use tools there are some difference in rankings when you check same manually. It depends on no. of keywords, if its less then i use to do it manually and if no. is large then i prefer moz's rank tracker tool.
