If you have submitted once, I can say re-submitting it again would not hurt it but doing it every month or ttwice a year or often would just bury the chances as it will be bumped. Its like falling in line in a Mcdonalds on a busy day.
Editors do it in their spare time. (except of course the LAZY EDITORS which I despise who would login once in a while and edit just to keep their accounts open.) Just forget about the submission after you submit it. If it is listable it will be listed. I am not an editor anymore but I will try and review your site if it is listable and will let you know.
