Well exceeding the 100 and 200 characters mark is not spamming, if you can give some more info, then we might help.

Just taking a quick peek, of the more than 1,000 indexed pages, all but two results have gone supplemental, perhaps because a large number of those have primarily identical content in terms of the text on the pages.

You have alot of indexed pages. Impossible to have no traffic from google. But I took a look at your pages' title, they look spammy though.

Well spammy tag will be like just listing all the keywords that dont make any sense. Such as
SEO, SEO, SEO, SEO and SEO
Above title is a perfect example of a spammy tag. So just be natural including the most important keywords in the Title and making it descriptive.

My question would be, why go for Google? Is it necessary for you?
Consider just go for solid on-page optimization and focus on getting MSN traffic instead. You're already ranked there, so, you can leverage that on MSN...

Well people run after Google because it gets a heck of daily traffic MSN is a small player in front of Yahoo and Google.

Agreed - still, it's about having mass keywords with small pockets of traffic that actually rank rather than going for that super-competitive keyphrase.
Having said that, I think programmersbank has a pretty non-competitive niche... maybe his site got sandboxed? Over-optimization/dup content?

well, you could do that but the fact is that it would be best
to change your method of SEO. Now google just indexes
differently as they recently changed their system and
you should use a group of relevant keyword instead of
a focus on keyword density. In fact, keyword density
is not important now.

Well there are more than 600+ factors that influence a website's ranking on google... and title and meta tags are few of the many... but yes they are a bit important... because if you dont have a good title then how can anybody know that your site is about "Ice Cream" and not "Hot Coffee"... if people cant see the difference then how come a robot...???... So writing a nice optimized title, meta tags and good copy... placing your keywords at right places helps a lot...

around 27th last month with the google update regular index of many well established sites turned supplemental without any reason (google's glitch ?)
its returning back to regular index and traffic is returning back to normal.
so dont do any thing hasty, just wait & watch.
