I don't have any samples bookmarked, but I can tell you how it is done:
Tables
Code:
<table>
<tr>
<td> </td>
<td colspan="2">MAIN BODY</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>MENU</td>
</tr>
</table>
CSS is done by positioning DIVs (either relative or absolutely).

[quote=vistadivine.com;470843]Don't use the same Title Tag throughout your site. Try using a unique Title tag for each web page and use your most important keywords in the Title tags that hold theme relevance to that page.
Well Vistadivine, I used the same Title Tag on my site with variations for products and specific titles. I am on the top search engine with a lot of pages. Some sites still behing with unique titles ;-)
It's working for me, people don't remember only the products but also the company name.

You might consider moving your keyword first in your titles -
<title>Natural Elements Skin Care - Plumeria Soap Travel Size</title>
to this
<title>Plumeria Soap Travel Size - Natural Elements Skin Care</title>
You prolly already knew that. But if you didn't there you go!

Thanks for the suggestions, but as you can see, this is no need to do that. Some people told me the same thing, but when surfing a lot on different engines I discover many sites ranking high with the company name first. I setup the titles like that, but I am sure it can work either ways.

There are hundreds of factors, just because some sites are doing well with company names first doesn't mean this doesn't apply, just doesn't mean they are getting that 1/100th bonus to beat the competition.

Can you give any figures on the keyword density per page?
What is the ratio here? Anybody got banned for "stuffing"?

Well that totally depends on the sites that you are competing with... even a 7% would be too much for few...
Jus go around 3-5%... and on all the pages... i.e all your webpages should be highly optimized for better search engine placements..

nice guidelines you have there.

Avoid using completely Flash designs because a majority of major engines can't index flash sites and Flash sites take some time to open fully so it my be frustrating for visitors who don't use a broadband to wait hours for the site to open.
|
Actually, there are flash sites that are indexed by Google, but I think it depends on the content because some flash animations that as you can see, the animators even put their lives on the presentation. Maybe a simpler flash animation would be fine.
