Link juice is much important for the promotion and as i believe you sign in forums not only provide you link juice but also some interested visitors

i think sig from forum does give you backlinks and votes to your target websites. so i agree with what the author saied here, try to use text anchor.

Totally agree with you guys, signature link definitely helps to get backlinks if the forum is a dofollow forum. Also the anchor text you use in signatures should be the targeted keywords or key phrases. It will boost your website traffic as well as in SERP's.

Signatures are great, Im pretty sure most people knew about them. however your right, if this thread has help one person, then great. Thats what forums are for.
