google the high pr sites will be listed on the first pages.
If the are listed and have low pr try to get a link anyway as being listed is more important then pr
search for the kewords you would like to be listed for and try and see if you can get a link exchange
You will have to ask several sites just to get 1 exchange you'll have better chances if your site is also list close to theirs

What's the url and content for your website?
At least most of the popular search engines have a very higher PR. Some others like adobe, macromedia, etc also have a PR of 8-9.
But I don't think you can exchange link with these websites. Only those websites with 4-7 PR will most likely sell links on their pages.

Brother, thats a bit wrong statement. One can get number 1 ranking with zero pr also.
You need to be smart enough to handle the optimization of your website.
No Offensive but it's just a correction.
Cheers

Well you could always search for it... and a good alternative would be to search from text-link-ads.com you can find good sites there... related to your niche...

Pageranks are not important anymore, you can search related websites with high pr in Google or in the forums.
You can obtain PR even by exchanging related links with low PR

Agreed...
in my previous statement i mentioned that according to me pr is not imp anymore. It's just quality backlinks, basic seo and quality content is important.

Yeah, it is better to do inbound links than exchanging links because it may result to link farm if you keep on exchanging links.

PageRank still carries some relevancy weight in Google, but not much. Don't worry about it. Build links from a variety of sources, with a variety of anchor text, and be sure to do some deep linking.
Contextual similarity between the page and your keywords is a good thing, but not an absolute requirement for a link to be helpful (at least not a requirement yet).
Be sure to get links from reputable sites. If all your links are garbage, you'll have problems.

I disagree, if you stick with quality, on-topic sites to exchange links with and have them organized on your site,in my opinion, you will never be confused with a link farm regardless of how many you have.

I don't think anyone here is arguing that link exchanges are better than one way inbound links, however, if done right, reciprocal links can still be an important part of your link building.

There is no doubt that one way links are the primary target but successful websites usually exchange links with some highly relevant websites as well.
